03 / BUILD SOMETHING SIMPLE
Minecraft in Browser: Minecraft Classic
Minecraft Classic is an official way to try classic block building in a browser. It is a separate experience from current Java and Bedrock editions.
Which Minecraft is this?
The official Minecraft website introduced this browser release as a return to the original Classic experience. It is not a browser conversion of every modern Minecraft feature. Use it for classic building, and check the current official editions if you want the full contemporary game.
The official announcement describes 32 blocks and the original Classic limitations. Do not expect a modern world, account progress or server experience to transfer simply because both games share the Minecraft name.
Open the official destination
Use classic.minecraft.net rather than a similarly named download site. Let the page finish loading, follow its on-screen prompts, and check its controls before building. Browser assets still download even though you do not install a desktop game launcher.
If a browser reports a graphics or compatibility problem, record the message and check your browser’s graphics support. A successful page response is not a guarantee that every device will render the game. We checked the entry on October 13, 2026; we did not run a full multiplayer session.
Other browser projects
For a very different experience, see the BO1 Zombies project guide, the Skate browser setup guide or our independent word-ladder practice. Return to the full directory to compare setup requirements before launching.

Is Minecraft Classic the current full Minecraft game?
No. It is an official classic browser experience with the limitations of that early version, separate from modern Java and Bedrock editions.
Does Little Fun Games host Minecraft?
No. The launch link opens classic.minecraft.net, the official external destination.
Does no installer mean no download?
No. Your browser still downloads the files it needs to display and run the game.
