Open the external BO1 Zombies project, choose a map, and face waves of zombies. Keep this guide open for setup and loading help.

Start a browser session
- Open the project in a full desktop browser tab using the button above.
- Choose a map from its selector. Loading the selector is not the same as loading the map.
- Wait while the project downloads and prepares the map. Do not repeatedly reload an advancing progress screen.
- Follow the project’s start prompt and click inside the game when asked for mouse capture. Use its own control settings.
What you are opening
This is a third-party browser project associated with Black Ops 1 Zombies. It is not a game developed, hosted or endorsed by Little Fun Games, Activision or Treyarch. Our page provides the destination, map directory and troubleshooting instructions; it does not distribute game assets.
The menu inspected on October 13 lists ten maps. That verifies the menu’s scope, not the correctness of every map, round, weapon or Easter egg. We have not completed a match on each map, so this guide does not claim full feature parity with the original commercial game.

If the launch fails
First open the same project directly rather than inside a social app or another site’s embedded player. Record the exact error and whether it appeared before map selection, during download or after starting. Follow the loading diagnosis to avoid changing several settings at once.
If the original host stops responding, use the browser-games directory for a different game. We do not offer unverified mirrors or promise that a different URL contains the same project.

A post by u/misadev in r/BlackOps1 links to this exact project and describes a decompilation repository. That is an attributed author claim, not an independent code audit. Our source record separates observable evidence from claims about who built or promoted the port.

Before you play
Is BO1 Zombies free in a browser?
The checked project entry presents a map selector without a payment or account step. Little Fun Games does not charge for this guide. This is an independent fan project, not an official free release from Activision or Treyarch.
Can I play BO1 Zombies on mobile?
Use a desktop browser with a keyboard and mouse for this project. We have not verified a touch-control version or controller support on phones. Requesting a desktop layout on a phone does not establish compatibility.
Do I need Black Ops 1 installed?
The checked menu does not ask for a local installation before choosing a map. The browser still transfers game data. This observation is not a statement that the project has permission to distribute the original assets.
Does this include BO2, campaign or online co-op?
This guide covers the BO1 Zombies project at vel.gg/bo1z. It does not establish support for BO2, the Black Ops campaign or online co-op. Check the project’s current notices for its actual feature set.
What if the project link stops working?
