02 / CHOOSE YOUR SETTING
BO1 Zombies Maps in Browser
These are the ten destinations in the project’s checked map selector. Each link opens the external host, not a locally hosted copy.
| Map | Setting / choosing the entry | Project link |
|---|---|---|
| Kino der Toten | Theater. A theater setting, identified by the project menu. Select Kino rather than a separate game with a similar name. | Open Kino der Toten ↗ |
| Five | Pentagon. The menu describes a Pentagon setting. The quotation marks around Five are part of the displayed map name, not a player-count setting. | Open Five ↗ |
| Der Riese | Factory. The project identifies this as The Giant. Its entry is distinct from the original bunker map Nacht der Untoten. | Open Der Riese ↗ |
| Nacht der Untoten | Bunker. The small bunker setting is a different destination from the larger factory and theater maps. Choose its own menu row. | Open Nacht der Untoten ↗ |
| Verrückt | Asylum. Look for the asylum entry. Some browsers may display its accented name differently; the underlying destination is verruckt. | Open Verrückt ↗ |
| Shi No Numa | Swamp. The project describes huts and marshland. This is the swamp destination rather than the jungle-temple entry. | Open Shi No Numa ↗ |
| Ascension | Launch facility. The menu identifies a Soviet launch facility. It has its own map download, separate from the lunar Moon destination. | Open Ascension ↗ |
| Call of the Dead | Frozen coast. The project describes a lighthouse and a stranded ship. Its short destination name is cotd. | Open Call of the Dead ↗ |
| Shangri-La | Jungle temple. The project lists a jungle temple with traps, geysers and a minecart. Select this entry for the temple setting. | Open Shangri-La ↗ |
| Moon | Lunar base. The menu describes travel from Area 51 to a lunar base. This BO1 entry is distinct from other browser games named Moon Zombies. | Open Moon ↗ |
Choose by setting, then test one map
For a first visit, choose one setting you recognise and complete its initial load before switching. This makes it easier to distinguish a failed download from a different map’s startup. The setting labels above describe the project menu; they are not difficulty ratings.
Kino is the theater entry; Five is the Pentagon entry. Nacht is the small bunker and Der Riese is the factory. Shi No Numa is the swamp destination while Shangri-La is the jungle temple. Ascension and Moon are separate launch-facility and lunar destinations.
What a map listing does not prove
A visible menu row does not demonstrate that every original Easter egg, perk interaction, hidden unlock or late-round encounter works in the browser port. Original console guides can describe features that this particular implementation handles differently. We will not turn those assumptions into a browser walkthrough.
The project may alter menu flags or destinations. If a direct map link fails, return to its main selector and choose the named map there. If the whole host fails, repeatedly trying other map URLs is unlikely to fix the underlying outage.
Sources and checking boundaries
- Project map selector ↗
- Project menu source ↗ — map names and destinations.
- Project launcher source ↗ — startup and mouse capture.
Checked October 13, 2026: the project entry and ten-map menu are reachable. This is a source and entry check, not a completed playthrough of all ten maps. Status is a dated observation, not a live uptime guarantee.
Before you play
Are all ten maps fully tested here?
No. We checked the project menu and destination names. We have not completed full sessions or verified Easter eggs on every map.
Which map should I start with?
Choose a setting you recognise and test one map first. This guide does not publish unverified difficulty rankings for the browser implementation.
Why did a direct map link stop working?
The external host controls its routes. Try the main map selector once; if that also fails, follow the loading guide or choose another game from our directory.
