THE BROWSER PROJECT

Ready to check
the setup?

Your own game content is required. The project says it supplies the engine only and asks for a legally owned, converted copy.

01 / THE FIRST LINE

How to get started

Use Launch in this page to open a large game window, or open the browser project in its own tab. Full screen gives it more room; the separate-tab link remains available if embedding or full screen does not work. The project loads only after you choose a launch option.

  1. Read the project notice. Check its current content requirements. In our Chrome test, pressing Enter continued past the initial fan-project notice.
  2. Let the initial cache load. Our check showed approximately 83 MB before the start screen. Your transfer and waiting time may differ.
  3. Continue at Press START. Enter opened the MAIN MENU. Click inside the project first if keyboard input is going to the surrounding page.
  4. Select FREESKATE. Enter selected Port Carverton and began scene loading. Our check stopped at that loading stage; a full skating session remains unverified.

Checked in Chrome on . These are observed startup steps, not a guarantee of performance on your device.

02 / KEEP IT ROLLING

Controls & loading help

Enter advanced the notice, Press START screen and highlighted menu selection in our check. Skate movement and trick bindings have not been verified here: use the project’s own control instructions rather than assuming console controls map directly to your keyboard.

A slow first load

Read the project’s progress and error messages before reloading. Our window-loading message only concerns the embedded page; it cannot tell whether the skate scene is ready.

A stuck or rejected load

Check any content or format message first. Try Open in new tab if the embedded window fails. Reload is manual and restarts the project; we never retry it automatically.

Settings and another visit

The project says settings stay in the browser. Clearing its site data, private browsing or switching browsers may remove or separate those preferences. This does not guarantee every game state is saved.

03 / CHECK THE DIFFERENCE

Browser project versus the original game

What mattersThis browser projectThe original game
Who provides it?An independent, non-commercial fan project. The original commercial release, separate from this project.
Where do I start? Its external website and preparation instructions.Your original game and its supported platform.
Is game content included here? No. The project asks users to provide their own converted content.Content comes with your original game copy.
Are all features the same?We have not verified feature, performance or multiplayer parity.Use the original release’s documentation for its features.

For this Skate 3 in browser page, the useful distinction is between reaching a menu and completing a skate session. We report the former from our check and leave feature and performance claims open until they can be tested.

BEFORE YOU DROP IN

A few things worth knowing.

Can I play Skate 3 in a browser?

The linked fan project runs in a browser. In our Chrome check on October 9, 2026, it reached the main menu and accepted FREESKATE at Port Carverton. The scene stayed on Loading, so we have not verified a complete skating session.

Is this an official EA game or a game made by Little Fun Games?

Neither. This page provides a launcher and setup guide for an independent project. Its notice says it is not affiliated with EA or Black Box. The embedded window loads directly from that project’s website.

Does it work without downloads or extra files?

Do not assume so. The project says it supplies an engine and requires your own legally owned, converted game content. Follow its current preparation instructions. We do not provide game downloads or conversion files.

Can I play on a phone or use my controller?

We have not verified mobile play or controller support. Check the project’s current compatibility and control information. Reaching a start screen does not establish that every device or input method will work.

Why is the browser project taking a long time to load?

The project warns that its first load can be slow. Our check reached the menu after an approximately 83 MB cache load, then remained on scene Loading. Follow the project’s own progress and error messages; this page cannot read the game’s internal loading state.

A QUICK CHALLENGE WHILE YOU’RE HERE

More games, less setup.
