Krillion Geography

Play seven geography-only questions from Little Fun Games’s independent Krillion edition. Type one place or term that fits each prompt, use a hint when needed, and review the accepted answers after every turn.

A LITTLE FURTHER FROM THE FAMILIAR

A geography-only dive.

Seven questions · no timer · up to 700 editorial points.

How to play Krillion geography

Each prompt names a bounded set, such as Canadian provinces or the five Great Lakes. Supply one accepted member. A correct entry receives 10, 30, 60 or 100 editorial points; a rejected entry lets you try again. There is no timer or life limit. Skip if you want to move on, and review the explanation and full list after answering. Scores describe our editorial game tiers, not the frequency of answers from other players.

How this differs from geography in the daily archive

The main daily round mixes subjects and preserves each published date. This page filters the existing library to 12 geography categories and presents seven per UTC day. It does not add historical geography questions or recreate the original creator’s geography mode. EEC founding countries and the thirteen colonies remain History questions in our main library; they are outside this geography-only pool. Older mixed daily sets are unchanged.

This small pool repeats across dates. A new daily selection means a different arrangement drawn from the library, not seven newly researched categories every morning. This mode is untimed and separate from daily streaks. It does not save unfinished rounds or scores; keep the tab open to finish, and record the result before leaving.

Improve accuracy before chasing points

Read the boundary first: a Canadian territory is not a province, and an Australian territory is not one of the six states. Recall a reliable member before searching for a less obvious one. Move mentally across regions or around a coastline to avoid getting stuck on the first familiar name. An obscure but out-of-scope answer cannot score.

Check spelling when the prompt names administrative divisions. Case and supported aliases follow the main game’s answer matcher, but not every abbreviation is accepted. Use the revealed alternatives and linked factual reference to learn the distinction. The question’s exact wording matters more than whether a place is famous.

When does this geography round update?

The selection changes at 00:00 UTC. Starting or replaying a round reads the current UTC date automatically; a round already underway keeps its questions until you finish. Examples: midnight UTC is 08:00 in China and 16:00 the previous day in Los Angeles during standard time, or 17:00 during daylight time. Check your local UTC offset rather than assuming one clock time all year.

For the mixed daily challenge, play Krillion. Use the daily answer index and hint index for the main daily edition; those pages are not answer lists for this separate geography round.
